Round Table: “Cyber Security as development tool of modern society"

ISCOM (Istituto Superiore delle Comunicazioni e delle Tecnologie dell'Informazione) has organized a  Round Table in Rome, on November 30th 2010 at Istituto Superiore C.T.I. – Dipartimento per le Comunicazioni - Ministero dello Sviluppo Economico.

The Round Table was focused on Italian Cyber Security situation and aimed to identify a development path for synergies, ideas sharing, objectives and resources: new threats are emerging, like attacks to countries or organizations critical infrastructures (distributed denial of service). A global information sharing is needed, since national laws do not provide enough protection.

GCSEC contributed to the Round Table with a session on ‘DNS security, stability and resiliency. Status and intiatives’.
